Model and graphics

  • Model taken from the FSX original and rebuilt for MSFS 2024, cockpit as a separate interior model
  • All liveries and the cockpit in 4K
  • PBR materials with individual roughness per livery (ORM maps)
  • Canopy and windows with micro-scratches, raindrops outside and inside
  • Chrome piston rods and painted cylinders on the landing gear as on the original
  • Readable placards on the fuselage (e.g. nose wheel, tip tank)
  • Levels of detail (LOD) so the aircraft stays visible from a distance
  • Weapon and reconnaissance stores as separate variants, fourseater as a separate variant
  • VR-ready

Cockpit and instruments

  • Fully clickable cockpit, all switches, levers and knobs animated with the original movements
  • Instruments after the FSX original: attitude indicators as real spheres, HSI with NAV and HDG flags, Machmeter with speed bug, clock with stopwatch, oxygen flow blinker
  • COMM/NAV/ADF radios and transponder via mouse wheel
  • Master warning with 17 triggers, warning light test, ice warning at actual ice accretion
  • Night lighting with 48 night textures, dimmable instrument, cabin and map lights
  • Seat with olive green fabric and green leather headrest, ejection seat safety handle
  • Four adjustable rear-view mirrors, standby compass on the canopy
  • Canopy with three-stage locking lever and external release
  • Master armament switch, weapon selector switch and four fire extinguisher buttons

Systems

  • Electrical system: DC bus, 2 batteries, 2 generators, 34 circuits; without the master switch everything stays dark
  • Inverters I/II for AC and the armament bus, with warning lights; volt and ammeters show real values
  • Fuel system with electric and shaft-driven pumps
  • Engine start per the manual: master switch → fuel pumps → ignition → starter → generators; ignition after ~9 s, idle at 48 % after ~18 s
  • Start curve matched to a real start-up video
  • Cold and dark and engines-running starts: everything off on the apron, ready to go on taxiway and runway; quick start with Ctrl+E
  • Pitot heat, avionics on the radio master

Landing gear, flight model and multiplayer

  • Landing gear with doors, torque links and dampers animated from the original data, compression to Asobo standard
  • Rotating wheels, nose wheel steering, toe brakes and parking brake
  • Flaps 0/20/40° hydraulic, airbrake, trim tabs
  • Centre of gravity and seat loads for pilot and co-pilot per the manual
  • Landing lights on the gear leg, retracting with it
  • Multiplayer: other players see the landing gear correctly extended; levels of detail keep the aircraft visible at a distance

Walkaround and ground equipment

  • Walkaround around the aircraft with dedicated stops for every ground item
  • Yellow wheel chocks that follow the gear compression
  • Intake and exhaust plugs in yellow with tiger stripes, pitot and static covers
  • Remove-before-flight flags with numbers, lanyard and tag, moving in the wind
  • Red safety flags on the weapon pods (Guns, Guns & Arrows)
  • Every item individually clickable; only present in cold and dark
  • Automatic: with the master switch the plugs and chocks disappear, after shutdown on the ground they return
  • Collision meshes so you don't walk through the aircraft

Sound, lights and EFB

  • Wwise sound: engines with curves from the original, start-up and shutdown, gear, flaps, wind, rolling sounds on three surfaces, touchdown, stall warning, canopy, rain
  • Click sounds for 66 controls, detent clicks on rotary knobs
  • Anti-collision lights on belly and tail, red or white, flashing alternately
  • Landing lights, instrument, cabin and map lights on their circuits
  • EFB checklist with 124 items, German and English
  • Pilot and co-pilot loadable via the EFB seats
  • Effects: tyre smoke and heat shimmer at the engine
